The Newport News (VA) Chapter of the Links, Incorporated awards a $2,500 scholarship to a graduating high school senior within our service areas of Newport News, Williamsburg-James City County, York County, and Gloucester, Virginia. The scholarship is available to a young person who has demonstrated academic achievement and leadership in school and the community and will matriculate at either an accredited Historically Black College or University (HBCU) degree-granting four-year college or university or an accredited two-year college.

Eligibility
- Must be a high school senior graduating in 2025
- Must have an unweighted GPA of 2.5 or above on a 4.0 scale
- Must enroll in an accredited four-year Historically Black
